Cheryl Fransico

LMT 039253, LMTI 1619, MMP

Relocating to Houston in late 2003, Cheryl set out to establish a massage therapy practice providing proficient bodywork in a professionally, consistent environment. In early 2004, she founded Total Massage Works, specializing in Sports massage & Advanced massage therapies. Her goal was not only to provide quality bodywork but also educate clients in ways of self-maintenance & body awareness.

Developing strong relationships with several of Houston’s active organizations and by word-of-mouth, Cheryl’s vision became a reality. She says, “Houston’s ‘active’ community has supported this work from the very beginning. It’s very fulfilling and inspiring to work with goal-minded people who care about their bodies & being the best they can be. It’s great being a part of their regimen”.

In early 2009, the practice was renamed Kinetic Bodyworks. Kinetic, relating to motion & Bodywork representing more than just massage; the new name fit appropriately. Cheryl says, “My ‘active’ clientele covers a large demographic of people with fitness levels and activities across the board. The one thing they all have in common, they want above standard massage; ‘the magic touch,’ they say. They find that here”.

Cheryl received her initial certification in Therapeutic Massage at the Wellness Massage Training Institute, Woodridge, IL & College of DuPage, Glen Ellen, IL, (2003). She has advanced certifications in Sports, Medical & Thai massage with additional training in Clinical Studies. She is a Texas Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor (LMTI), a certified Medical Massage Practitioner (MMP) and a Professional member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).

She has been the on-site massage therapist, educating & assisting members with body maintenance for Houston Fit since 2005 & Chevron/Exxon’s MS-150 training programs, 2009. She actively volunteers for the non-profit organization, Beyond the Finish Line bringing fitness programs to underserved communities. A daily runner, fitness enthusiast & having a physical occupation, Cheryl understands the importance of maintaining your body to keep up with a busy, active life.
